Dr. Kyle Stephens will begin treating patients in Huntingdon on January 23. A physician with West Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic, he is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon.

Stephens graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2009 and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Michigan in 2014. Afterwards, he took part a yearlong spine fellowship at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.

A Springville native, he returned to Henry County and joined Dr. Blake Chandler at West Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic – Paris in 2015. His clinical specialties include: general orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, hip, knee and shoulder surgery, hip arthroscopy, anterior hip replacement, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and fracture care. Committed to staying abreast of new technology, Dr. Stephens recently performed the first hip arthroscopy at Henry County Medical Center’s Surgery Center.

“[I’m] excited to offer similar solutions for hip repair that have been so successful for shoulder and knee injuries,” said Dr. Stephens. He is one of the few surgeons in the area offering this procedure.

Along with his medical degrees, Stephens holds a master’s degree in divinity. “For me, faith and spirituality naturally flowed into the world of being a physician, and I love the journey of living and working in those worlds.”

Dr. Stephens’ Huntingdon office is located inside the R.B. Wilson Clinic at 641 R.B. Wilson Drive. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 731-644-0474 or visit www.wtbjc.com. View him on YouTube discussing the benefits of Arthroscopic Hip Repair.
