On September 7, the annual golf scramble was held at the Carroll Lake Golf Course to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County, Inc. This year there were 14 teams participating and eight hole sponsors. Through the generous support of these individuals and businesses, approximately $2,750 was raised for this worthwhile endeavor.

Aubrey Gaia was crowned by Ana-Kate Welsh, the 2017 Miss Bruceton at the March 13 pageant.

The crowning concluded two nights of pageants held in the high school gymnasium.
