The man arrested earlier this month in Florida for allegedly abducting a local teenage girl on Halloween night has been transported back to Carroll County and is due to appear in court this week.
Joseph Ivan Fallon, 34, address unavailable, was being held at the Carroll County Jail on a $75,000 bond as of press time Monday. He is scheduled to appear in Carroll County General Sessions Court today (Wednesday, Nov. 28) for a preliminary hearing.
Fallon has been charged with aggravated kidnapping for allegedly abducting 13-year-old Acia Ross of Buena Vista on October 31 and transporting her across state lines.
Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and officers with the Bruceton Police Department located Fallon and Acia that next day at a gas station in Gainesville, Florida.
Fallon was arrested and held in Florida for awhile before being sent back to Tennessee. Acia was returned to her family unharmed.
Acia told new sources that she first starting having online communication with Fallon about three days before the abduction using a dating app called “Secret.”
Acia said Fallon confronted her while she was on her way to meet her mother at Dollar General Store in Bruceton and pressured her into getting into his vehicle.
