Members of this year’s West Carroll Junior High Football Homecoming Court were recognized during pregame ceremonies Thursday night in Atwood.
Eighth grader Summer Wren received the crown as homecoming queen.
The daughter of A.J. and Trisha Morgan, Summer is a member of the Lady War Eagles basketball team and football manager.
Serving as Summer’s escorts were Jay Long, son of Tracy and Roxie Long, and Shooter Nelson, son of Roy and Melissa Nelson.

•8th grade representative Kaylee Butler, daughter of Craig and Lori Butler. Her escorts included Hunter Reynolds, son of Jason and Sarah Reynolds, and Jamal Roberson, son of Carlas and Tenisha Roberson.
•8th grade representative Michaelyn Brogdon, daughter of Brooke and Jeremy Thurmond. He escorts included Gage Laman, son of Adam and Christina Laman, and Hunter Barber, grandson of Mike and Bonnie Curran.
•8th grade representative Rebekah Draper, granddaughter of Mariane Draper. Her escorts included Tyler Shaddon, grandson of Anna Johnson, and Jaxon Mims, son of Jared and Jenny Mims.
•7th grade rep. Alexa Kirby, daughter of Dayna Anderson. Her escorts included Hunter Walters, son of Angel Hardwick.
•7th grade rep. Olivia Arnold, daughter of Mark and Sally Arnold. Her escorts included Bladen DePriest, son of Shane and Brooke DePriest, and Hunter Holmes, son of Ben and Angie Holmes.
